e-Sahulat services are franchised on easy terms to the small businesses and entrepreneurs with a view to provide value addition to their existing business both in urban and rural areas. The franchise is operated on a pre-paid model thus requires an operating balance to commence the business.
A measure of its successful expansion could be attributed to the special focus made on evolving easy terms and conditions for awarding franchise licenses to small businessmen and entrepreneurs. It is operated on prepaid model, i.e. the franchisee receives a credit equal to his deposit, and the credit when fully utilized can be recharged through designated banks. The franchisee earns a commission on each transaction and there is no limit on the number of transactions. It is widely admired by the franchisees because of the favorable terms on which the dividends are shared with them.

- Matric with Computer Literacy
- Must have business aptitude
- Preferably small entrepreneur
- With no default and police history
Selection Process
Selection of franchisees is made through a transparent system and applications are asked from public through print media. e-Sahulat Phase-I was advertised in February 2008 and Phase-II in April 2009. The selection process comprises following stages:-
- Receipt of application forms
- Short listing of applications by close scrutiny
- Site survey for assessing business potential
- Interview of franchisees
- Award of license to selected franchisees
- Training
- Deployment
Prerequisites For Franchisees
- Should have a shop or place to conduct business
- Business place should meet the NTL laid down standards & aesthetics
- Around 2500 households located in the vicinity
- Marketing and business aptitude
Franchise Scheme for Corporate Clients
Companies having their offices and outlets can diversify their business by deploying e-Sahulat. They can earn additional revenue by using existing network and human resource, whereas the customer footage will automatically increase leveling positive impact on their existing business.
Prerequisites For Franchisees
- Clients should have their own outlets country / region wise.
- Outlets layout should commensurate with the standards & aesthetic laid down by NTL.
- Location should not have conflict with NTL e-Sahulat franchise.
